About Tess

Tess Myers (she/her) is a dedicated and passionate Casting Assistant. She is a resourceful thinker, an avid spreadsheet organizer, and loves working with actors. Though she enjoys all areas of the performing arts, Tess always has a soft spot for the stage. She has NYC casting experience in theatre, pilots, series television, feature films, indie films, short films, commercials, and live events.

Tess changed the trajectory of her college career after discovering her love for casting and began working on numerous student films, assisted at many local theatres, added a B.A. in Law to her Theatre degree, and grew to be known as the Casting Director at her University. 

Tess is also an alumnus of the Casting Society Cares (CSC) Casting Assistant training and education program. Through the CSC, Tess has been able to learn about the ins and outs of assistant life, meet with many casting professionals, attend casting software trainings, and form a wonderful network of other young industry professionals.

When she's not working, you can frequently find Tess entering Broadway ticket lotteries, walking her dog at the park near her apartment, or making tea from her collection that may need to be downsized (or drank more quickly).
